More treats (and a recipe)

December treatsHere is one of our projects from December’s camps.  This adorable tin pail was from Target; I had to go twice and bought all their snowflake pails each time!  The treats inside the cello bag are very simply made:

Peanut Butter Clusters

Place 7-8 cups of Peanut Butter Captain Crunch cereal and 1½ cups dry roasted peanuts in a very large bowl.  Melt together 1½ pounds white almond bark and 3 Tablespoons peanut butter in the microwave (heat for two minutes, stir, and heat again for 30 seconds at a time until the bark is mostly melted).  Pour bark mixture over cereal mixture, coating everything well.  Use two spoons to drop bite-sized clusters onto wax paper.  Cool at room temperature.

Stamps:  Cute & Curly

Paper:  Riding Hood Red, Holiday Treasures, Whisper White

Other:  Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Iridescent Ice) and Heat Tool, Curly Label Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1/8″ Round Punch, Taffeta Ribbon (Riding Hood Red), Ribbon Originals (Alpine)
